Questions
Is AI used?
Yes. Our work is AI-assisted. We design each portrait from your photo, and we check and touch up every face before you see it. For makeovers, we check every slide and every formula by hand. The examples on this site are our own, made the same way, not customer orders.
Will the portrait look like us?
Yes, we keep each person recognisable, with real eyes and real expressions. It is an illustration, so every look draws faces its own way: some stay close to the photo, some are more playful. You see a draft first and get 2 free changes.
How long does it take?
Portraits: a draft through Etsy Messages within 3 business days, each change within 1 business day. Makeovers: a first draft within 5 business days of receiving your file. Business days are Monday to Friday.
What counts as a change?
On a portrait: a face, a colour, the background or a small detail; switching to another look also counts as one change. On a makeover: one round means you send us one list of changes and we make all of them.
How big is the portrait file? Can I print it?
A PNG of 1122 x 1402 pixels (4:5). It looks sharp on screens and phones and prints well up to 5 x 7 inches.
Do pets count?
Yes, a pet counts the same as a person. 2 people and 1 cat is a group of 3.
Why are portraits on Etsy and makeovers here?
Etsy handles small gift orders well, with its own messages, downloads and buyer protection. Makeovers are bigger jobs with a file to send, so you pay us directly by card through Stripe.
What happens to my photo or file?
It is used for your order only, never shared, and never shown in our examples. We delete it 30 days after delivery. See our privacy policy.
Can I get a refund?
If we cannot take your order, or you cancel before we start, you get a full refund. After that, the refund policy explains what applies.
What currency do you charge in?
US dollars. If your card is in another currency, your bank converts it.
